Betach Laboratory is an analytical testing company founded in 2006, with sites in Francistown, Letlhakane and Maun. It offers integrated scientific testing services, including environmental, water, chemical, microbiological, agricultural, and food and hygiene analysis. Betach also provides oil analysis and tribology, metal assays using ICP-OES, ICP-MS and XRF, and engineering services such as laser alignment, vibration analysis and dynamic balancing.
Beyond laboratory testing, Betach has diversified into engineering through its subsidiary, Betach Engineering Systems, and manufactures industrial cleaning chemicals approved by the Ministry of Health. It partners with international firms to supply water treatment plants, chemicals and anti-scalants, and offers accredited training in oil analysis, lubrication engineering and laboratory techniques. Betach also operates in Zimbabwe through a registered subsidiary, extending its services beyond Botswana.
